Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute

It is the specific variety named "Chameli" in India. The Grandiflorum species is more common in Jasmines, it is well know to the westerns as well as Europe. It is also found in Egypt. The Jasmine Gradiflorum is having very sweet and floral note and high fixativity after Tuberose.

People are being confuse between Jasmine Grandiforum and Jasmine Sambac but the default jasmine is Jasmine Grandiflorum. One should specify clearly the name of both with botanical name before purchasing. In South India, it is highly used in ceremony, gift etc. But the commercial uses are the dried flower exports and absolute manufacturing.

The pure Jasmine Grandiflorum is dark brown.
